Urban Ideas and Solutions goes beyond simple recycling by integrating the restoration of metal objects, as evidenced by our work with the STM to restore used garbage containers.
This approach not only recycles but also extends the lifespan of metal objects, which is ideal for heritage enhancement projects or reuse as part of a circular economy approach.
We are proud to have contributed to the STM (Société de transport de Montréal) project, which involved renovating used garbage receptacles into modern, self-supporting, wall-mounted trash cans and paper recycling bins.
Contributing to this project was an important step for Idées et Solutions Urbaines, as it allowed us to change the aesthetic appearance of many metro stations in the Montréal region at an affordable cost.
